The love inside each of us.  We can achieve far more together as a human race than we ever could apart. One Love.

Bob Marley was one of the most iconic musicians of the 20th century. Born in Jamaica in 1945, Marley became a pioneer of reggae music and a symbol of social justice, peace, and love throughout the world. He remains a beloved figure to this day, with his music continuing to inspire people around the world.

One of Marley’s most famous songs is “One Love.” Released in 1977, the song was originally recorded with his band, The Wailers, and has since been covered by countless other artists. The song is an anthem of unity, urging people to come together and embrace love and harmony.

The lyrics of “One Love” are simple yet powerful, with Marley singing, “One love, one heart, let’s get together and feel all right.” The song’s message is clear: in a world filled with hate and division, we must come together and embrace love if we are to find peace and happiness.

The song’s popularity has only grown over time, and it has been featured in numerous movies, TV shows, and commercials. Perhaps most notably, “One Love” was used as the theme song for the 1999 film “One Love,” which was based on Marley’s life.

In addition to its message of love and unity, “One Love” is also an excellent example of Marley’s unique musical style. With its catchy melody, upbeat tempo, and reggae rhythms, the song perfectly captures the spirit and energy of Marley’s music.

Overall, “One Love” is a testament to the power of music to bring people together and inspire change. It remains a beloved song to this day, and its message of love and unity continues to resonate with people around the world.

laying For Change (PFC) is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The primary focus of PFC is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos called Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated PFC to form the Playing For Change Band—a tangible, traveling representation of its mission, featuring musicians met along their journey; and establish the Playing For Change Foundation—a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to building music and art schools for children around the world. Through these efforts, Playing For Change aims to create hope and inspiration for the future of our planet. To learn more about the work of the PFC Foundation, visit
